Calhoun High School AP Biology students McKenzie Baldera, Caroline O’Donnell, and Delilah Dowell enjoyed a visit to TPWD's Sea Center in Lake Jackson, the largest redfish hatchery and restoration program in Texas, thanks to a partnership between Calhoun County ISD, Alcoa Foundation, and A&M Victoria. Students experienced a behind the scenes tour of the hatchery, a marine aquarium with both bay and gulf species, a saltwater touch tank and an outdoor wetlands exhibit.
